How were these illustrations created you might ask?  The illustrations for this book were done in a 3d computer program called Maya.  First we built the characters and their sets in wireframe.  This is kind of like building things out of chicken wire fencing.  Gruntly sitting in his workshop carving, looks like this in wire frame.  Next
